On May 10, 2019, Ronald Greene was stopped by Louisiana State Police troopers for a traffic violation. What happened next would be hidden from the public for more than two years. Ronald Greene did not survive that encounter.<\/p>

When bodycam footage finally emerged, it revealed a shocking truth: Ronald was tased, beaten, and dragged facedown by troopers while in handcuffs. His death was initially attributed to a car crash. It was a lie.<\/p>

At the center of our film stands Carl Cavalier, a Louisiana State Police officer who refused to stay silent. When he learned what happened to Ronald Greene\u2014and witnessed his department’s systematic efforts to bury the truth\u2014he made a choice that would cost him everything. Carl became a whistleblower.<\/p>

“Unpunished” follows Carl’s courageous journey as he risks his career, his safety, and his family’s well-being to expose the cover-up.
